Account Information

We use Google Sign-In via Firebase Authentication. We securely receive your email address, name, and profile picture to create your personalized experience.

Emotional & Chat Data

Messages, voice notes, and images you share with Rilwa are processed to generate empathetic, human-like responses. This emotional data is stored securely in Firebase Firestore to maintain your conversation history and enable Rilwa to remember your emotional context across sessions.

Usage & Interaction Data

We collect anonymized analytics about how you interact with Rilwa (feature usage, session duration) to improve our emotional AI models and user experience. This data cannot personally identify you.

Subscription Data

We use RevenueCat to manage premium subscriptions. We do not collect or store your payment details; all transactions are processed securely by Google Play Store or Apple App Store.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your data solely to provide, maintain, and enhance the Rilwa emotional AI experience:

  • Personalized Emotional Support: Your conversation history helps Rilwa provide contextual, empathetic responses that feel genuinely human and supportive.
  • AI Response Generation: Your messages are sent securely to OpenAI's API to generate conversational responses. OpenAI does not use your personal conversations to train their public models.
  • Service Improvement: We analyze anonymized interaction patterns to improve Rilwa's emotional intelligence and conversation quality.
  • Safety & Moderation: We monitor for harmful content to ensure a safe environment for all users.

We never sell your personal information. Your emotional conversations with Rilwa remain private and are never used for advertising or marketing purposes.

3. Data Security & Storage

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your emotional data:

  • End-to-end encryption for sensitive data in transit and at rest
  • Firebase Security Rules restricting unauthorized access to your conversations
  • Regular security audits and penetration testing
  • Strict access controls limiting employee access to user data

4. Your Rights & Data Control

You maintain full control over your emotional data:

Clear Chat History

Delete individual conversations or your entire chat history directly within the Rilwa app settings. This action is immediate and irreversible.

Account Deletion

Request complete account deletion by contacting support. All your personal data, conversations, and profile information will be permanently removed within 30 days.

Data Export

Request a copy of your data at any time. We'll provide your conversation history and account information in a machine-readable format.

Opt-Out of Analytics

Disable anonymized usage analytics in your app settings at any time without affecting your Rilwa experience.

5. Third-Party Services

Rilwa integrates with trusted third-party services to deliver our emotional AI experience:

  • Firebase (Google): Authentication, database, and cloud storage. Governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
  • OpenAI: AI response generation. Conversations are processed via API and not used for model training.
  • RevenueCat: Subscription management. Processes transactions through app stores only.

6. Children's Privacy

Rilwa is designed for users aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If we discover that a minor has provided us with personal information, we will immediately delete such data. Parents or guardians who believe their child has used Rilwa should contact us immediately.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. We will notify you of any material changes via the app or email. Continued use of Rilwa after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
