Some preferences you configure are saved only on your device using local storage. This includes:

• ›Daily Bible verse and liturgical calendar settings

This data never leaves your device. Uninstalling the app or clearing its storage permanently removes all local data.

3App Permissions Explained

The app requests only the permissions needed to deliver its features. Each permission is described below:

• ›SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM / USE_EXACT_ALARM: Used exclusively to fire your prayer reminders and liturgical notifications at the precise times you configure. No data is transmitted through this permission.
• ›POST_NOTIFICATIONS: Required on Android 13+ to display your scheduled prayer reminders, daily Bible verses, and feast day alerts.
• ›RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED: Restores your scheduled reminders after a device restart so you never miss a notification.
• ›WAKE_LOCK: Keeps the processor briefly awake while delivering a notification to ensure it is displayed reliably.
• ›USE_FULL_SCREEN_INTENT: Allows reminder notifications to appear on the lock screen so you see them immediately.
• ›VIBRATE: Enables haptic feedback when a notification or alarm is triggered.
• ›INTERNET: Used only to load content such as Bible text or calendar data that requires a network connection. No personal data is sent over the internet.

4No Advertising or Ad Tracking

This app contains no advertisements. We have explicitly removed the Android Advertising ID permission from the app to ensure no ad tracking occurs. No third-party advertising SDK is integrated.

5Affiliate Links

The app may include affiliate links (for example, Amazon links to purchase Bibles or Catholic resources). Clicking these links takes you to external websites governed by their own privacy policies. We are not responsible for the content or practices of those sites. As a participant in affiliate programs, we may earn a small commission on qualifying purchases at no extra cost to you.
