01
Description of service
AutoPay UPI Alerts & Reminders is developed by Zecrari (“we”, “us” or “our”). It works entirely on your phone and provides:
- Voice payment alerts: speaks the amount of UPI payments you receive, based on notifications from the payment apps you enable and your bank SMS.
- Payment history: a record of money received and paid, built from those notifications and bank messages.
- AutoPay tracking: a list of UPI mandates found in your bank messages, estimated next-charge dates, reminders and trial-trap warnings.
- Statements: PDF and CSV exports saved to your phone.
02
Eligibility
You must be 18 or older, or have the permission of a parent or guardian, and use the app only on a phone and with bank accounts that you own or are authorised to manage.
03
Permissions & access
Features depend on permissions you grant, including Notification access and SMS access. You can revoke them at any time in your phone's settings; related features will then stop working. How the app uses each permission is explained in the Privacy Policy.
04
A voice alert is not proof of payment
Banks and payment apps change their message formats from time to time. This can cause a payment to be missed, recorded twice, or read with the wrong name or amount until the app is updated. You can mark any entry as a duplicate or delete it.
05
AutoPay information and warnings
AutoPay details, next-charge dates and trial-trap warnings are worked out from the messages your bank sends. They are provided to help you notice charges, not as a guarantee:
- A mandate may be missing if your bank did not send an SMS about it.
- Next-charge dates are estimates unless your bank sent a pre-debit message with the exact date.
- A trial-trap warning means a small first charge was followed by a much larger limit — it is a prompt to check, not proof that a merchant acted wrongly.
To stop an AutoPay you must cancel it in the UPI app or bank app where it was set up. The step-by-step guidance shown in the app is general help; the exact screens are controlled by those apps and may change.
06
Price
The app is currently free, with no ads and no in-app purchases. If paid features are ever introduced, they will be optional, clearly priced in the app, and billed only through Google Play.
07
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Install or use the app on a phone you do not own or are not authorised to use.
- Use the app to read another person's messages without their consent.
- Reverse engineer, modify or redistribute the app except as allowed by law.
- Present the app's alerts or statements as official bank records.
08
Intellectual property
The app, its design and its content belong to Zecrari. Bank and payment-app names and icons shown in the app belong to their owners; icons are taken from apps already installed on your phone and are shown only to help you recognise them.
09
Disclaimer & limitation of liability
The app is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from a missed, delayed, duplicated or incorrect alert, an AutoPay charge that was not detected or reminded, or reliance on the app's information instead of your bank's records.
10
Changes and governing law
We may update these Terms. The effective date above shows the latest version, and continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised Terms. These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
